CNA Training

- Ivy Tech College- The Blooming campus of this particular Indiana college can provide you with the best CNA training in Indiana. The class is 120 hours long, 40 of which are in the classroom and 80 that are reserved for clinicals. In order to be admitted into this course, you must have at least a high school diploma or GED. You must also be at least 18 years or old. IVY Tech campuses are located all across Indiana, so if you do not live in this area, you may be able to obtain the same CNA training on another campus.
- Omega Health Care- The CNA training offered by this facility covers 75 hours of clinical practice and 30 hours in the classroom, totally 105 hours. Before you can enter the program, you will need to take an exam covering English and math, both of which must be passed at 80%. You must also take a criminal background check and pass this. The courses last for seven weeks and are only available on weekends.
- MJS- This college offers a basic CNA training class that covers nursing skills you will need when working in any health care facility in Indiana. In order to become a student in this class, you must be able to pass a physical exam, background check, and have proof that you have either graduated or obtained your GED. Classes last for six hours from nine o’clock in the morning until three o’clock in the afternoon, four days a week. Cost for the program is generally $750, and this price includes the fee for your state exam and the cost of the scrubs you will be required to wear during clinicals.
